Η έκθεση διοργανώνεται υπό την αιγίδα του Consulate General of Greece in Boston και με την υποστήριξη του Anatolia College.

[Γιατί τίποτα δεν είναι τυχαίο….Στη Βοστώνη το 1892 εκδόθηκε η πρώτη ελληνόφωνη εφημερίδα στις ΗΠΑ που έφερε τον τίτλο “Νέος Κόσμος”.]

Effie Micheli emerged as an artist in 1952 and was soon identified as a naive painter by art critics. Micheli participated in exhibitions all over Greece and in more than fifty Greek group shows. She also presented her work at one-woman shows in Athens, Boston and Stockholm. Micheli received many awards and distinctions. In 1979 she founded The Panayotis & Effie Michelis Foundation in support of the study, promotion and dissemination of the philosophy of art. Many articles about the artist’s work have appeared in newspapers and art magazines.
